Week 7 - Requirements for Studio Images

The requirements for the capture of studio images.

Objects - Acquire, buy, borrow or use items already owned to be used for studio shoot. Emphasis for this project will be electricity suggesting studio objects will be electric light globes (energy efficient and conventional),  electrical wires and switches. See below for photo ideas.

Props needed electricl light globes with clear and frosted glass, electric light switch mounted on plaster board, , light socket, chrome downlight with globe, plaster board, lengths of electrical multistrand wire, junction box mount, tools (insulated pliers and screwdriver), switch plate, and paint for plaster board.

Need to book studio time and ensure lighting is availble, book a Hasselblad with tiltshift adaptor for camera movement shot.

Costs: light fittings, globes, multistrand wire, downlight, 1/2 sheet plaster board, multistrand wire, paint, switch plate.

Timeline -
  • draw up a timeline identify critical points and checkpoints to ensure the project is keeping to schedule. 
  • build in lead times and slippage times
  • identify tasks that are not time sensitive and can be done at anytime during the process
  • identify tasks requiring coordination and make arrangements well before the scheduled shooting times
